The video link below demonstrates how the technology of RFID tags could be used to attach to trailers (that you have ownership of or control over) and store the RFID tag number against the trailer in ALMADS. ALMADS would then pull the information up when the trailers go over the truck scale and the License / ID and Tare (if using) can be recalled without the use of manual key entries further reducing the element of human error....

We are very pleased to welcome Pacific Farms Macadamia Nuts into the Regional IT family. Pacific Farms receive, process and market Macadamias in many different locations in the World. Based just out of Byron Bay, NSW, Pacific Farms source from local growers in the east coast and partner with processing facilities in Hawaii, China, Kenya and Zimbabwe. We have recently been involved in Pacific Farms expansion to Zimbabwe and look to support their supply chain system for this coming harvest in all countries.
