Regional IT are pleased and most excited to announce that we, in conjunction with our partnering software development company, Integrity First Technologies based in Fresno, have just signed a contract with Blue Diamond Growers to redevelop their Grower Information System (GIS). As the world’s largest almond handler, Blue Diamond serves customers in more than 80 countries and most, if not all of our existing almond clients have some association with this very large company. This GIS redevelopment project is estimated to take approximately 16 months to complete. Our second annual client get-together was once again a great success with much fun had by all. Andersen & Sons walnut hulling and shelling in Vina, CA has just gone live with ALMADS. After a trip to California to visit with staff and implement and train in early August we are so excited that they are now up and running live!

Once again Regional IT are visiting our loyal Californian clients in the lead up to the new hulling season and implementing new systems at both Lomo Cold Storage and Andersen & Sons and scoping out systems for new clients. After deciding not to attend this year’s AHPA conference, we wanted to do something special for our clients, so we teamed up with Scott Sickler at McDougall Trading and Dan Pronsolino and invited clients to join us in the corporate box at AT&T Park to watch the SF Giants take on San Diego. Much fun was had by all including Cortez Growers, Andersen & Sons, Sierra Valley Hulling, Livingston Farms, Holland Nut, Cortina Hulling, Four Corners Hulling, Braden Farms, Johnson Farms, West Valley Hulling, Yolo Hulling and Vanella Farms, and of course partners McDougall Trading, Dan Pronsolino of Dunnigan Hills Hulling and also Justin of Integrity First.
